The Brucker-Biofeedback Method can lead to significant improvement for patients suffering from brain, brainstem and/or spinal cord damage. These patients often suffer from motor activity disorders, such as poor trunk control, gait disorders, spasticity, and coordination difficulties. For instance patients with :
brain damage following a stroke
spinal cord injuries
In the case of brain damage, cerebral palsy or brain injuries, we can – using the Brucker-Biofeedback Method – teach alternative cells in the brain to take over the function of those that have been damaged.
With spinal cord injuries, we teach the brain to search for alternative neural routes between the brain and the muscle.
